Job Title: CUSC Camp Director – Soccer & Multi-Sport Camp
Position Type: Seasonal Full-Time (depending on camp schedule)
Location: Fishers Fields - Collingwood, Ontario
Reports To: Club Director / General Manager
Position Overview:
The Camp Director is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the CUSC’s Soccer and Multi-Sport Camps. This individual ensures that camps run safely, efficiently, and with a focus on delivering high-quality, fun, and inclusive programming for youth participants. The Camp Director will manage staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure a positive environment for all campers, staff, and families. The Camp Director is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the CUSC’s Soccer and Multi-Sport Camps. This individual ensures that camps run safely, efficiently, and with a focus on delivering high-quality, fun, and inclusive programming for youth participants. The Camp Director will manage staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure a positive environment for all campers, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Oversee the daily operations of all soccer and multi-sport camp programs.
Ensure program content aligns with the club’s values and developmental goals.
Work closely with the Club Director to plan schedules, themes, and activities for each camp week.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise all camp coaches and support staff.
Provide ongoing leadership, feedback, and support.
Ensure staff uphold safety standards, program quality, and appropriate camper engagement.
Camper Experience:
Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for campers of all backgrounds and abilities.
Monitor camper engagement and behavior to ensure a positive experience for all.
Communicate with parents/guardians as needed regarding camper experience, feedback, or concerns.
Safety & Administration:
Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed throughout the camp.
Maintain attendance records, incident reports, and daily logs.
Be the primary point of contact for emergencies or serious concerns.
Equipment & Facilities:
Coordinate equipment needs and ensure all supplies are prepared and maintained.
Oversee setup and cleanup of daily camp activities.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in camp leadership, recreation, or coaching preferred.
Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and youth in a recreational setting.
Knowledge of soccer and/or multiple sports is an asset.
Vulnerable Sector Screening / Background check required.
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday (July 7th - Aug 1st) 9am-4pm
Arrive at 9am to set up with staff. Campers welcomed at 9.30am. Pickup between
3-3.30pm with teardown and cleanup of any equipment etc till 4pm.
Some prep/planning required prior to camp start date.
